About the photo subject

This 19th century Minton Parian statue of Una and the Lion is made from porcelain. Intended to resemble marble it was an affordable way to bring smaller scale copies of statues into homes. Her flawless white beauty suggests purity and innocence but she  lives in the downstairs toilet so she's seen quite a lot and is pretty worldly wise!
