About Us

“Who lives in this museum?”  A friend’s daughter once asked when visiting our house. We laughed but she had a point. Our walls are packed with photos and paintings, the cabinets full of glassware and ceramics.  We’ve collected a lot of stuff over the years, sharing the place with some interesting knick knacks and the two cats which make it our home.

My husband, David, is an advertising photographer, I'm Jo and my background is in brand marketing so whilst we aren’t exactly qualified to open that museum we can share our treasures doing what we love to do, taking photographs. The idea for Ornament art was born.

As a team we collect and collate our treasures, source and build our photographic and room sets, prop and primp our ornaments, dream up funny words and take photographs to create our playful greetings cards and photo art prints. We keep it real throughout the creative process and we do not use any AI in our photography. 

Ornament Art is big and  bold, it's colourfully kitsch and it's here to raise smiles and sometimes eyebrows too!
