About the photo subject
This 19th century Minton Parian statue of Una and the Lion is made from porcelain. Intended to resemble marble it was an affordable way to bring smaller scale copies of statues into homes. Her flawless white beauty suggests purity and innocence but she lives in the downstairs toilet so she's seen quite a lot and is pretty worldly wise!

About the photo subject
This beautiful carved stone bust was another Christmas present - lucky me. She lives in the living room and loves to watch period dramas. Though stony faced she has a great sense of humour.
